Product Description

The MetaMotus™ Galileo is Fourier's independently developed, China-first human motion quantification research and rehabilitation system. It integrates biomechanics, rehabilitation medicine, sports science, and robotics into a single unified platform for comprehensive motion assessment and training.

Galileo combines virtual reality, motion capture, wearable technology, and a six-axis motion platform to simulate real-world daily life and work environments with high fidelity. A 180° flexible curved LED display and spatial surround sound create a fully immersive interactive experience, while a dual-belt adaptive treadmill, six-axis force plate, and surface EMG system capture precise biomechanical data.

The system supports a wide range of training and assessment modes including bilateral upper limb training, ADL (activities of daily living) training, balance training, gait and walking training, athletic performance quantification, and psychological rehabilitation via exposure therapy. Dynamic body-weight support keeps users safe throughout all sessions.

Galileo is deployed across leading medical and research institutions in China — including Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Shuguang Hospital, Shanghai Yangzhi Rehabilitation Hospital, and Tongji University — and participates in China's National Key R&D Program as a core sub-project platform.
